Landmark Creations’ UC Berkeley Campanile European Blown Glass Christmas Ornament
$39.95
Product Details
A beloved symbol of UC Berkeley, also known as Sather Tower, the Campanile was completed in 1914 and stands 307 feet tall. Besides its spectacular view of the Bay area, the bell tower emits a carillon concert daily, and chimes the time of day on the hour. The bells range from 19 pounds to 10,500 pounds and are located above the observation platform. Marking the top of Sproul Plaza, the Campanile has come to symbolize the birthplace of the Free Speech Movement and to honor such greats as Mario Savio. Perhaps it is with this rich history that the Campaniles' noontime, eve song, and game day bells unite every Bear's heart. Hand blown and hand painted in Poland and gift boxed with style! Go Bears! Beat Stanford!
