This Limited-Edition Holiday Splendor Collection has been inspired by old world-Eastern European family, who for almost 200 years had been painting beautiful miniature lacquered papier- mâché boxes, inlaid with mother of pear. It took years of perfecting this technique to establish this new and innovative from of painting that we now proudly present in our exclusive G. DeBrekht Glass ornaments in approximate size: 5” x 5.5”. They are made, as in the old days- from 1.5 mm handblown Mercury Glass, silver powdered from the inside and then sandblasted from the outside. The combination of colors and the multi-layer painting techniques create a deep iridescent effect. We take pride in perfecting every piece by adding touches of gold, finishing them with a lovely satin ribbon, and presenting them in a luxurious satin-lined box. Every piece is handmade in the USA and is unique- a piece that will be passed on to future generations to cherish.
