Why do I have trouble opening my Powder Perfection Base and Top Coat after a few use?

This is likely due to excess product being left on the neck of the bottle. Make sure to wipe off any excess with Nail Wipe and 99% Alcohol before closing each bottle.

Can I extend the nail with Powder Perfection?

Yes. Apply a nail tip and use clear color set powder to overlay the extension.

How much should I charge for an OPI Powder Perfection manicure?

We recommend charging for Powder Perfection service higher than your gel nail polish service and lower than your traditional full set of sculpted acrylics.

Who is the ideal client for Powder Perfection service?

Powder Perfection is great for clients that have weak, flexible nails that tear easily. Clients who are often in water or are hard on their hands will love OPI Powder Perfection.

Can I perform backfills for my clients that are repeating the service after 2 or 3 weeks?

We recommend removing dipping powder and applying a fresh set every 2 to 3 weeks. The dip powder layers would need to be filed down significantly enough to avoid building up excess layers, which could interfere with proper curing of the Activator.
