Founded in 1883 by Alpinist’s that wanted to make the most robust watch for the outdoors, they made the first anti-shock, anti-magnetic, stainless steel & waterproof watch. With more than 135 years of watch making, Alpina’s mission is to design and engineer quality luxury sport watches that operate with the greatest precision and reliability possible in the most demanding sport environments. Alpina manufactures its watches in Geneva, Switzerland.

Alpina’s collections are the Startimer collection, which feature all pilot watches, the Alpiner collection features all outdoor adventure models and the Seastrong collection features the diving models. The Comtesse collection features the professional sport watch with feminine elegance.

As a brand founded by watchmakers who had a love for the great outdoors, we wanted to honor this fundamental part of the brand. We are excited to share this love now with our support of America’s great outdoors as in 2019, Alpina began its support of the National Parks Foundation, the official non-profit partner of the National Parks Service.

Options with Swiss Quartz or Automatic Movements

For the watch enthusiast who prefers automatic watches, the Seastrong Diver 300 and Heritage models come with automatic movements. The Heritage models are inspired by the 1960s professional diver design, providing a vintage design while the Diver 300's style is a modern professional diver watch look. The Diver 300GMT offers the same features as the Diver 300 but with a Swiss Quartz movement and the GMT function provides a second time zone.

The Seastrong Collection

Three designs in the collection, the Diver 300, Diver300 GMT and Heritage models, are dive watches, offering water resistance up to 1000 ft, enabled by the screw in crown. These three models all offer a uni-directional turning 60 minute diving bezel, with the Heritage model vintage design featuring an internal turning bezel. All three models double duty as an essential diving tool and a multifunctional timepiece on dry land.

The Horological Smart Watch

In 2015 Alpina added the Horological Smartwatch, providing the perfect timepiece whether you are counting your steps up a mountain or walking to work. Even with the connectivity features, this watch is water resistant to 330 ft with a push down crown.
